Dataset: Daily Mean Air Temperature of the Tibetan Plateau
Descriptions:
This dataset provides daily mean air temperature data over the Tibetan Plateau. It is created by a novel method that dynamically integrates all the four MODIS observations per day (i.e. Terra day, Terra night, Aqua day and Aqua night).
Features:
1) Low cloud blockage (see picture above)
2) Relatively high accuracies (~2 degree)

Notes:
Each file is accompanied with a “model code” file which records specific information on which combination and quality situation were used in the estimation for every pixel on each day.
The model code file can be used to evaluate the spatial and temporal information of errors.

Note: the model code file records which model produced the Tair data of the specific grid as described in the reference mentioned above.
